Tree of Life Round. This original-design laser paper cut celebrates LIFE! Specifically The Tree of Life!

With only paper and a special artist’s paper cutting tool, I created a unique work of art for the wall, featuring a traditional Jewish blessing inspired by ancient Hebrew manuscripts.

In the center is a circle with my paper cut rendering of the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden, surrounded by a lovely flowing water motif as well a depiction of mountains behind. I’ve surrounded the scene and circle with a verse from King Solomon’s wisdom (Proverbs 3:17, 18). Surrounding that is a square border with a lovely flowing floral/leaf motif.

Hebrew text: עֵץ-חַיִּים הִיא, לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ; וְתֹמְכֶיהָ מְאֻשָּׁר

Phonetic pronunciation: Etz chayim hi lamahazikim ba, vetomcheiha meushar

English translation: It is a tree of life for those who hold it, and all who support it are happy
