  • This beautiful work of art celebrates FRIENDSHIP and THE ABILITY TO SEE THE GOOD IN PEOPLE.

This papercut is in the shape of a beautiful, pleasing  circle. The filigree around the text is masterfully crafted on laser-cut paper and in the center, the prayer is printed in traditional Hebrew text.

The text is taken from "Adraba," a segment of a prayer written by the holy Rebbe (Rabbi) Elimelech of Lizensk, which says that everyone should look into their friends and neighbors and find the good things and not the bad.

    English text:
Rather, let our hearts see the virtues of our friends, and not their faults. And let us speak to each other in a way that is seemly and worthy before You, and let no hatred rise in one towards another, God forbid.

It is a wonderful way to look at life and this would make the most thoughtful gift for. . . . anyone, really:
    A great friend
    A great neighbor
    Community leaders
    World travelers
    Church Friends
    Rabbinical students
    Newly married coup
